Going down to Leominster next week for a family meet up. What the best
way from Durham (by car unfortunately).

    Cheers.

    Just don't bother.

I took a van out there the other week for a delivery.

Was half expecting a retard with banjo to answer the door.

    M1 M42 M5 to J7.
Round the South Worcester ring road
and out on the A44, which is a nice road.

That looks the best on a map, just wasn't sure if it really was.

    Thanks.

    Yeah, thought about that too.

Perhaps an AA check for roadworks might be an idea.

Exactly, I do actually work with them, and not sure they are worth what
they charge for them (let alone the update discs).

I know the M54 well, I even drove along that route before it was built.

    And it's a 2001 version too :)
Righto, so cutting across to the M6 looks best then?

So why bother asking for directions in the first place?

I didn't ask for directions, I was asking for the 'best' route!
