    Sorry to disagree.
My 36 year old little Honda CD175 is one of the Classics that cut the
throat of the British motor cycle industry.
Only disadvantage of going out on it is I get stopped by people saying
'Hey, I had one of those, went on for ever ... ... ...'

Then you know you have a Classic.

I suppose the nearest British bike is a Bantam. Had one of those too,
but years since I saw one on the road. John.

The defining machine for many would be the style, poise and sheer
glorious mechanicals of the seminal Honda CB550.

    In brown.

The bike I wish I hadn't sold was a mint XS650 Roadster in Black.

I was a but drunk and offered it to a bloke from Bath one night in a
pub for silly money and the bugger turned up the next week to collect
    it :(

But out of the 30 or 40 bikes I have owned it was nice.

My 650 T120 Bonnie was nice as well, but then people think. ' It's
British it has to be a classic

' This was a classic as it was one of 3 stolen of the Triumph stand at
Earls Court Bike Show in 1961'

Never liked the injection model, I didn't like the black/gold
paintwork. The MK2 was the bike that came out a short while after I
passed my test, and I lusted after one but couldn't afford it.

  14. That's because the daft old MZ gimmer doesn't know his CB500Ts from his
    CB550s......

    Lozzo fumbled, fiddled and fingered:
I had one of those, although I preferred the colour scheme of the fuel
    injected Z1000H.
