  1. Jan 16th !

Have you tried The Four Points Inn on the Aldworth Road ?

Good fresh honest pub grub, great sunday roasts and Sweeney Todd pies on the
    menu.

Worth a visit if you're passing.

    For me, yes.

We've wanted to go for a while and this will force us to do it. Also,
it takes up no more room in our house.

The bloke that owns it seems to have a very sensible attitude about
using local produce (ideally that he's been out and shot / trapped /
caught himself) His style of cooking seems very down to earth and he has
    his own beer brewed.

I'm not sure what a gastro-pub is these days, bus I suspect the pot kiln
lacks the pretention necessary. The menu features things like game
burgers, bread and butter pudding, slow roast pork belly and eccles
cake. Granted there are also some offerings that may well seem
pretentious, like the the Muntjac Ragu, but given the number of the
damned things running wild here, I am very tempted :)

By that token, the Black Horse is a pretentious restaurant, at Sunday
    lunchtime.

Plume of Feathers near Harlow would fit as well. Most pretentious thing
they do is 'hot rock' stuff. All the rest on Sunday lunch is roast,
fish and chips and steak pie.

Very classic and not even a little modern. So not modern is it, that the
electrics are showing signs of needing looking at. Thankfully, it's just a
    dirty switch (I think/hope)

Actually I think it's guilt. My hand-me-dwns far outstrip his hand-me-us,
but the ools are truly welcome.
    Smooth and clean.
    Oh, oh, ooooh yeah.
    Oh I know.
Stop it, I've been able to keep them clean so far and far from the prying
Monz eyes, but now I'm going to have to clean them again and he's sure to
see 'em and want to share in their loveliness and I don't want to share them
    :)

Noted! It's a Suzuki Cappuccino, so you won't need much paint.....

    A cupful should do.

Bear secured a place in history by writing:
Played that through on the 360 a couple of months ago (which is rare for
me, in itself). Ending a bit disappointing, in every other respect quite
wonderful. Puts to bed the argument over whether computer games can be
considered art or not, aspects of it are beautiful, and quite disturbing.
