Forgot Running on Empty, some great 50s and 60s cars!

Not exactly a car movie, but Ronin has the best car chase scene IMO
    (sorry, no V8s involved):

Hatz? Yeah, right, that's why I sign as CrazyCam.

I do admit to having a thing for nice looking ladies....... I think it
    still works, too.

  5. Think I will have to wait till it gets to the video shop
The copy I saw was about 3 seconds behind in the audio
Didn't think much about the storyline
but the cars were really good
apart from the desecration of painting numbers on the side of a perfectly
    good car

The audio problem would be a codec , there is a reason for the number
which becomes obvious well into the movie where it sgtarts to develop a
    storyline , initially it's kinda bad :)
The cars though are excellent which is why such movies are made
Did you see the truck belonging to the gas jocky ?

  10. Think it used to be a 32 Chevy
I finally got the codecs right and watched it through today
As you said, lousy acting and not really a good story, predictable in its
    ending
Couldn't work out who were the 2 killed, till they said the farmer
then I looked back, and the red coupe usurper, hit a dirt bank and not the
    farmers tractor
So, still couldn't work out how the farmer was killed
Then again, I am pedantic about detail
but, great cars, I preferred the ones which were original as to the rods
liked the "T" truck in the shed.
She may be able to photograph the cars okay, but she should stick to that
and give her acting career a wide berth

  13. Better ask Gerry, he is the expert on those matters
Then again, he does seem to be the expert on all matters
    just ask him.
