  3. Best reply from an almost complete idiot
You Gerry, are half a brain short of being a complete idiot
His supposed crossposting, to aus.motorcycles and aus.cars has relevance to
both groups, seeing that a lot of the posters in both groups have cars and
    motorcycles.
I normally would not have replied to your posts, but had to on this
    occasion.
Stick to what you do best Gerry
go and sit in the corner and not be noticed.
But, then for a person who claims to be a Vietnam veteran, sprouting for all
the world to see, who incidentally, threw any medals earned away, thus
denying any right to be called a Vietnam veteran.
Maybe some of "your mates" who you claim would be very interested in meeting
me, would also like to have a look at your performance.
As Nev has pointed out, the name of the person you are claiming to be, is by
co-incidence, listed as being killed in action in 1969.
**** off Gerry, crawl back into your rock spider hole.
Have you received your white feather yet ??

    I know... You're not normal...
I can, and have proved it. there are people in this NG who can
authenticate my Vietnam veteran status. You're just too stupid to
    realise it.

You on the other hand, talk ill-infomed rubbish about Vietnam, hide
behind a pseudonym, decline all efforts to authenticate your Vietnam
veteran's satus, can provide no one who is prepared to vouch for your
    authenticity.
Again you distort what was said. Here's how it _actually_ went:

[1] You claimed to have been an instructor training ARVN troops. You
claimed you were doing this in 1962/63(?). That woud mean that you
were with AATTV as they were the only ones there doing that at the
    time.

{2] You have made enough ill-informed comments for me to be 99%
certain that you were never in AATTV, or in any way training ARVN
troops, an that you were most likely never even in Vietnam.

[3] I suggested to you that YOUR (supposed) mates in the AATTV
Association might very mmuch like to have "chat" with you.
And if yougo back and look at Nev's sources, you'll find all bar one
have hastily corrected the errors on their websites after I made them
    aware.
Are you calling me a pedophile? Do you understand how the defamation
    laws work in this country?
And for what might anyone send me a white feather?

I don't see his lies and other false claims but on reading your reply I
can see he is a fool , experience tells me most people into motorcycles
appreciate a decent rod and anyone who makes suggestions otherwise
without at least checking the movie posiibilites needs to grasp the
truth for a change and man up-

Only car movie worth watching is Vanishing Point, and that's because
there were a couple of motorcycle bits in it.

Mmmm.... the lady on the Honda springs immediately to mind. :)

    Just finished watching this tonight
Yes it is a love story
But with some of the most awsome rods I have seen in years
If you can find a copy do watch it

    xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I wonder who's thinking whether it was Fast and Furious 1 or 2 as the worlds
    best care flick?

The Beast would be up there, if only for the attitude towards cars.

How about these for a top 15?

Cannon Ball Run (One of my all time favourites)
    Vanishing Point
    Gone in 60 Seconds
    Italian Job
    Bullit
    Days of Thunder
    The Transporter
    The Beast
Grease - purely for the cars!
    Mad Max
Duel - Not for the hot cars but its a good car flick I suppose.
    French Connection
    Transformers
    Christine
James Bond Franchise/s - (Esp Golf Finger for the Aston Martin)

    Nev.. Guest

Some great car movies above.. here are a few I would add. Seems to be
that most of the best car movies were made in the 60s and 70s.

Gone in 60 Seconds (1974 original)
    The Italian Job (1969 original)
    The Blues Brothers
    Death Race 2000 (1975 original)
(burn all copies of the remake and pretend it never happened)
Just about any 70's Burt Reynolds movie
    Cobra

The original, not the lame arse remake.
    Naa, not a fan.
    As above, the original thanks.
    Great chase scene.
    Haven't seen them.
    Agreed on all three.
    So so.
    A true classic.
    Some, not all.

One obvious omission, the Blues Brothers for the cars and the music.
