Best bike buying strategy

    Nobody really wants a black-painted 400 Four with a Motad. The
    difference between that and something.. well, something like mine, is
    enormous.

    Good, as in original really nice, and unrestored (or beautifully
    restored).

    People know what it costs to fix them up properly, and a black-painted
    non-standard one is simply an old Honda, not a classic to cherish.

    That's only an issue if you don't have a shed full of bits for a 400
    four.

    How about a Ducati Monster 696? Seat height is only 77cm and Ducati do a 2cm
    lower seat for it.
