and I've discovered that the pads for the 6-pots have very little pad on
    them to start with.

So my observation that the fitted pads were almost worn out, wasn't
    entirely accurate...

Still, I've now got some in the shed for when I do need them :)

Unless another 'busa owner comes and borrows them when he hears that
horrible grinding noise that means his pads are fucked.

On my list of "things to do" for mine, along with braided hoses.[1]

It's getting an oil & filter change next week, as well as new C&S.

[1] I was going to order them from Champ's favourite place,
www.bsr-aerotek.com but the website appears FUBARed at the moment.

I ordered Hel hoses from M&P when I called up to order the tyres. Went
for 10mm longer on main tube to accommodate the Helibars. Should be here
in the next day or two.

I'm going to call Champ's supplier of choice when I get round to doing
the Beemer, but wanted Hel hoses for the Busa as I know they do them in
    black with black fitting

Yes, HEL seem to be well recommended by people on the UKBusa forum and
had also eyed up the black/black ones.

    I'll be on for a MIB# at this rate[1]

[1] When I replace my grey Arai I guess, so not for a couple of years
    yet.

I've got HEL lines on the 10R and they're fine. The dark smoked
colour ones though where you can see the braided hose through the
    plastic cover.
