    Been here:
    http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=2157298
    with this one:
    http://i33.tinypic.com/2i88vpu.jpg
It didn't break, even if I thought it would every time I changed
gears. No pistons jumped out of the their cylinders into my balls,
even if I thought they would every time I reached 3000 revs.
I've done it, it was fun, but I wouldn't swap my GS500 with a Harley.
    And I'm talking about a GS500...

Hired from http://www.pacificcyclecompany.com/, I highly recommend
them (they also do BMW). Thanks to the BMW dealer in Mountain View who
recommended them. Thanks to Mike who recommended the BMW dealer.
Mike, if you happen to be downtown Mountain View one of these days let
me know, I owe you at least a pint (my email address is valid).

Last time I was in San Jose[1] they had a 5.7 earthquake that was a very
*interesting* experience, a bit like being on a sea ferry in a medium swell.

All the car alarms went off outside, the vertical blinds on the big picture
windows in the boardroom started to sway, the room filled with dust from the
movement of the ceiling tiles and our hosts disappeared until the boardroom
table - which was the prescribed action.

We heard latter, after a few after-shocks, that a frieght train had jumped
the tracks but remained upright, and a house had blown up when the owner
returned and switched on the lights not knowing that the gas boiler had
broken clear of the wall. She was found, slightly singed in the front
garden of the house opposite, still with the keys in her hand.

Other than that, there was little damage. Amazing as this was the first
significant quake on the west coast since the one that brought down the
    freeways in LA.

Good job you posted a link, nobody would have got an obscure reference
    like that otherwise.

Quite, many people haven't yet hit thirty.

Point being, if you need to spell it out, it's probably not worth making
the reference in the first place.

Which raises the question - who is the youngest? And for that matter,
who's the tallest, shortest, fattest & thinnest?
