    SDS. Good man. The world is now your hole in the wall.
    Those einhell cheapaschips ones are ok for general use; for the price
    they last surprisingly long.

    It seems to be a good quality piece of kit. Are the "professional" drills
    really worth about 8-10 times as much?
    The local DIY shop is selling 620 Watt items for 35 Euros, but they look a
    bit Chinese.

    You tend to get better quality bearings and gears for a start and most
    of the pro stuff will last for years of day long working.

    The budget stuff is often produced in former Eastern Bloc countries and
    isn't actually too bad internally, but don't expect it to last for long
    under pro conditions of use.
    Some of the Chinese stuff is utter crap, some is ok.

    Heh, I've got an einhell cordless which cost (ISTR) about £45 from Macro.

    Very good indeed it is, it's first two months of usage were exclusively
    mixing epoxy resin with kin dried sand (using a long screw attachment).

    Been going strong ever since, with no ill effects.

    A good bit of kit.
