    Blimey, that's keen.

    I've only managed about 600 on the 13, 170 on the new beastie, and the
    other two haven't seen daylight yet this year.

    ObNewWing: it doesn't seem to matter how many revs are showing when
    the throttle's opened, the response is just the same - I guess that's
    what a flat torque curve's[1] supposed to feel like.

    It also doesn't *feel* as if it accelerates quickly, but most times
    when I check in the mirror, there's nothing there.

    Deceptive, that's a good word.
