What a waste of a perfectly gorgeous weekend.. I sure hope someone took
advantage of this one and made a good ride somewhere.. It was a bit nippy in
the morning (alright.. downright cold).. Anytime the temps get below 40
degrees, it is cold on a motorcycle.. But damn.. by the time the sun gets up
and warms things a bit, the old leathers feel soooo gooood.. LOL.. I wrung
the ol' Green One out from under the covers and finished burning all that
Mexican gas out of it.. Didn't really go anywhere, just gave it and myself
some fresh air.. And.. was it fresh.. LOL.. Didn't quite work up the nerve
to give it a good washing, (which it needs, badly).. Might even wait until
spring before I get that much nerve..Ran around the metroplex and tried to
catch up on all my chores and errands which I have neglected for the past
three weeks.. Saw a few of the Ol' Buds out and about, waving and hollering
and all that stuff.. Jeez, you'd think someone missed me or something.. I
also discovered that due to the hauling, the sidestand has been bent
slightly and the bike now leans a little too much to the left when it is
parked.. Ah well, another slight expense added to the cost of that trip..
All things considered, I made out alright on this one.. Came home with a
rebuilt transmission and new brakes all around as well as a rebuilt master
cylinder.. Does it get cold when the sun gets low in the west, or what ? No
one had to tell me when it was time to head back to the house..LOL.. Have a
    good one, all..
