Wouldn't work that well if you had 4 mates without bikes.
But it's still an improvement! Bring it on!

    Short victory party, eh?

Seriously, you aren't the sitting member, so I'd be very pleased if you
    were elected. Good luck!

I think it was Hagemeyer who said "this is money we'd rather not have."
Give it back then, you sanctimonious prick.
They aren't paying attention to what's happening here in the East (do
they ever?). All they need to do is drop the limits, like they've just
done in NSW and the ACT. *Everywhere* is now 50, unless otherwise posted.
That should be worth a couple of hundred big ones; once that tails off a
bit, they can drop it to 40.

In Queensland they double the fines. In the interests of road safety, of
    course. Cough!...

They did that here in 2000 but the revenue is still dropping.
They have just reduced an 8 km section of my road to work from 110 to
    100. I've slowed down to not much over 110 on that section.

At least he's a motorcyclist. I dunno how the political scene in QLD is
faring at the moment, but I wish we had more bikers in Parliament down
    here in Vic.

Now that the board of the MRA is effectively gone, and has no obvious
leadership, we don't really have anyone to negotiate with the government
and road safety authorities, and no-one who may be willing to step into
the breach appears to have any experience dealing with such entities.
