Can these guys get it anymore wrong? Search for the postcode I am sat in
at the moment (KA8) and you would think I was being drowned in a lovely
    winter sunshine.

It is presently chucking it down in a sideways full on manner and the sky
is a leaden grey and so low it could almost be on the roof of our three
    storey building.

Well done BBC weather. Top work!

  2. Have you seen some of the video they put out? Sentences like "Christ, I
cocked that up, let's start again" were a feature a while ago and other
    stuff that wasn't edited out.
    Wet and grey here, too.

It'll wash the last three or four weeks' shite off the roads which is a
    good thing.

I seem to recall that as being the equivalent of sunshine in Ayrshire.
You're really in shit when they forecast bad weather.

And yet, I've found that the Met Office's own website is much more
accurate and reliable. Oh, wait a minute, there's a pattern emerging...

Seriously though, about a year ago I found the BBC's weather website to
be spot on 9 times out of 10, and the Met Office's site was so often
wrong as to be useless. I'm under the impression that weather
forecasting is more of an art than an absolute science, but WTF?
