yeah - like I said, it's about project management. The fact that the
projects are architectural is partly irrelevant.

Sure. But given that they had a Mini as the sofa (or was it the
dining room table?), they could have just shuttered off part of the
    living room.

In your case surely a blessing we're all grateful for ;)
Heh, well, some of us have already owned up to their criminal past,
now step forward the other 30 of you [1] ;-)

    Cheers,

    Paul.

I went on last night at around 10-ish. I'm afraid if you found the bots a
bit tricky this is going to be an embarassing game for you.

You have to be of a Certain Age. I like to use such analogies IRL and
watch the blank expressions clear as memory kicks in - and observe the
kiddies looking even blanker, of course.

If they are set to match skill then that over-rides sweller's most
gentlemanly resetting their level to "Gay", I guess. I suppose
they're back on "Godlike" with zero lag and much better "memories" of
health pack locations than I have.

    Buggeration.

They certainly weren't on Godlike last night, I'd have guessed at just above
Noob or whatever the base setting is.

Might that have been after sweller reset the skill level (one hopes)?

Apart from being consistently trashed by them, I noticed that they
went for and picked up the armour (especially the shield belt, the
cunts) and the Damage Amplifier consistently and frequently. If they
had been on Noob level I don't think they do that - they run slowly
and don't seem to pick much up unless set on Masterful or above.

But hey - if they're on "match skill level" and /you/ have been
playing, that would explain it, right.

That would explain the little white rabbit, too.

I just had a quick look and the bots seem slightly more reasonable -
only Loque beat me (by two frags at close of play). I fragged ****
    out of the rabbit though.

Is a ping of 45 reasonably playable?

Yeah, that's fine. It starts getting trickier at around 80 and above 120 is
    problematic Especially with the sniper.

  19. It was somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the
drugs began to take hold. I remember "platypus"
Hoyuss. The first u/f system I installed was a fullspec one in a
converted oak barn approx 10m x 6m. Utterly magnificent the way it
worked. Cost a fucking fortune to run though, as the old geezer that
owned it really felt the cold. The architect fucked up by not specifying
    a heat recovery system.
