Northampton habe a tasteful burgundy kinda one. They sit on bridges
so they fall into the 'parked in odd places' category.

    Muck says...
Well, it's like this innit. Take a recent scenario whereby a biker was
proceeding along the Queens Highway (as anyone is whont to do, really),
and someone suddenly and without warning pulls out of a car
cleaning/valeting service place and subsequently knocks a 'blade rider
into oncoming traffic that results in death. [1]

This inconsiderate biker could've caused a heart attack in an arthritic
85-yr old thereby resulting in mass destruction as his vehicle careers
out of control into oncoming traffic, caused by the bike.

    S'all relative, see.

[1] For some reason it took 45 minutes for the ambulance to reach the
scene of the accident, at which point the victim was still alive but
died on the way to hospital.

TBH, I treat _any_ vehicle in an odd place, or even in a layby as a
    potential camera van.

Makes life a bit boring at times :(

  4. Hmm, don't rush into this. Have a google first, there have been tales of
the sky boxes not liking bigger hard disks and being fairly unreliable.

Definately said bindit 600 on tail plastics. Almost identical bike to mine
(even down to girly greeny blue[1]). My engine silver though. (powder
    coating? why?)

After only recently convincing wifey to ride pillion, it was not the site
she wanted to see on telly, identical bike, bird pillion killed.
Thankfully the drugs/booze/breaks/'kin loonacy added a little backing to my
'No dear, I won't ride like a tosser with you on the tail' argument.

[1] Girly Greeny Blue - Suzuki Teal I'm reliably informed.

Do you have any problems with wireless and Sky+ ?

I had one with our original Sky box and with the little IR pod you could
change the Sky channel from elsewhere in the house over the wireless.
However I've never managed to get this working with Sky+. Can't decide
if it's a problem with the Sky+ or just a location problem with the IR pod.

I did enjoy the "Arrive Alive" campaign in South Africa, there you would be,
pottering along the motorway and a sign would hove into view, the sign would
read "Tiredness kills, Take a break"... all well and good, 'cept that the
next services or turn off weren't for another 300km :)

Same place that sells those 200mph GSXR750s that were on the BBC
    program a while back.

    Works fine with mine.

    However......

I assume you _are_ using a Sky+ remote, rather than a clone of a
'normal' Sky remote? - I quickly found out that the 2 remotes aren't
compatible. Bastards. Means I now have to fork out for a 2nd 'plus'
remote even though I have 2 'normal' Sky remotes knocking around.

I did ok on those tests. 11/15 and 13/15 on 5 and 9/15 on the youth
    annoyance one.

I won't be joining the force because I've got a criminal record
(although it's now spent) and I've got tattoos [1] on my forearms which
    "may cause offence"

[1] Personally, I wouldn't be offended by the designs but there's always
some **** who'll find offence in _something_.

  17. It was somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the
drugs began to take hold. I remember Whinging Courier
Ityf the words "All Coppers Are Bastards" tattooed on your forearms may
lead to a raised eyebrow or two at the interview.

I had one of those too, but that's not the reason I won't be joining the
    police.

I'd quite like to [1], but only in traffic [2]. But the thought of being
a plod for two years is too awful to consider.

[1] "bring it down from the inside"
[2] I actually think some good can be done.

An old house (moved out 4 years ago) I had in Hove still had all the
cabling and box thingy. I took it down when I did the gutters, shortly
    before selling it.
