    My fuel light works now, but the oil light hasn't worked for about four
    years. It's a Guzzi feature, new Guzzisti buy about five oil sender units
    before they stop caring about the oil light. Now I've got six out of the
    eight idiot lights working. I'm happy with that.

    You had batteries? I had a full-blown Lucas system on the BSA.
