I'm not ignoring you, it's just that I'm currently eight timezones away,
    and a tad busy.

Assuming it goes ahead (weather and all that) on the 12th, I'll email
directions to all my lovely assistants earlier that week.

You're all wonderful people, I don't care what Des says.

So had I, but luckily M&P were out of stock - so I gave 'em a try.

£30, instead of £65. Due to be delivered tomorrow.

The trip to Meriden is still in doubt[1], as tonight's trundle to
Sainsbury's revealed an alarming clunking noise from the front end on
    the way home.

I've checked calipers, wheel spindle, and mudguard sections, to no
avail. A fairing section's a bit wobbly, but not enough to explain the
    clunking, or the noise.

With Linda perched on the pillion[2], in the garage, there's movement
back and forth in the forks, but I can't tell if it's head races, or
not.It feels like the forks are flexing, more than the whole assembly
shifting. Could the damper assembly have come loose?

    More fun tomorrow, then.

[1]If I go on the Blackbird, I'm going on my own, apparently.
[2] Went down like a lead balloon, that did.

I meant to say "Ta" earlier, so I'll do it now.

No probs. I'm glad someone has saved some money from it. I'd already
committed myself to a "how fucking much" Hawker Odyssey before seeing the
link in another place [1]. I just hope these new fangled AGM batteries live
    up to their hype.

[1] £25 cheaper for a similar spec battery

    It did.

    Or, rather "they" did.

Two of 'em, and four bottles of acid. All in the same box.

LA2's as well, rather than LA3's, so the terminal holes are to the
sides, and not the front, but two re-shaped 10mm nuts have sorted that
    out.

I *think* the clonky noise was the brake hose banging on the fork
shrouds. I've rerouted it, anyhow. The fairing side was a bit rattly,
too, but that's stopped now I've refitted the centre panel.

    Funny, that.

    Test ride tomorrow.

err, it wouldn't do. The server that processes the form
submissions/runs the old CMS is in bits down to
    motherboard-out-of-the-case level.

Has anyone heard from Rog recently? He's supposed to be "sorting it
    out".
