    Dead.

.... ish. (lights on, big clicky noises from starter, **** all else)

    So much for crossed fingers.

Still, it got me out of going shopping tonight, so the evening's not a
    total loss.

Unfortunately, I had this company recommended to me after I had paid quite
a bit more for a replacement for the GS.

Similar here - the tractor battery hasn't been too enthusiastic about
keeping its volts up. Charging was okay, and I switched off the battery
master switch every time I stopped, so it wasn't draining away somewhere.
So I hauled the massive, heavy-duty accumulator out of the Kontinent
Krusher, wired it in and toyed idly with the kickstart...

    VROOOM!

That's more like it. As the standard setup for the Dnepr is two Ukrainian
6-volt jobbies in series, I figured that the Z200 battery, as it fitted
okay, might as well stay in it. And this afternoon, I treated the Z200 to a
    new battery.

    You did.

I'm gonna seriously **** up your concrete thingying next week, now.

You'll learn. Having half a ton of concrete slabs balanced on a three
inch base teetering above you while you try to find the 1/2" spanner is
    a wonderful incentive to learning.

I'll 'ave you know I've done aircon trunking installation, I have. Got
me 'ands dirty and everything. Hanging from ceilings, with a reel of
tape and a goo-gun. Even better when you get to the end of a section,
and they've taken away the scaffold tower "for a laugh".

And hada stand up shouty match with the GLC buildings inspetor, which
the g/f's dad (boss) thought was out of my remit, as the hired help.

    I was right, though.

I'm of the foible that it is next weekend, as opposed to this weekend.
Now some would have that this weekend is next weekend, but I don't pay
    any attention to them.

    Bunch of cunts.

    (I haven't said **** for a while, feels good)

Well as it turns out it is the weekend after next so that is not an
    issue.
This, of course, does not change.

I take full credit. Now we can work on the "now fill my".

Nige, you want to think about whether the structure will cope with Bodger
hanging from the ceiling like some vast flightless bat.
    He's a troublemaker, too.
