    Earplugs? Me?

Used 'em twice - hated every minute of it. I don't go fast enough to
    need 'em, me.

  2. Fair enough... Could be chain ultra dry - it was a rattly version of an
electric milk-float sound. Maybe just a gearbox preparing to haul the
    Dodger home...

Well, it is under a little strain, and the chain's near the end of
    it's useful, at 18k.

I had planed a flying, surprise, visit but I myself was visited upon by
    three demons:

(d1) Yesterday, that FUCKING turbo and its shit electrics caused me to
push the fucker to the local motorcycle shop (local as in I know they'd
let me dump the cunting thing there and they're downhill - my house
isn't). Where I spent this morning poncing their testgear to get it
going. The LH coil is totally fucked but a lot of unrelated connections
have been cleaned. If any **** says anything about Italian electrics....

AND it's not that fast when it was bloody going.

(d2) I feel exactly the same as I did just before I went to hospital to
be diagnosed as having pneumonia; so have been mainly feeling crap like
no other crap has felt before. I'm building up to not getting up for a
whole day. Except this time with added lime green stuff.

(d3) Been doing birthday stuff. Hoo. Har.

    Excuses, excuses.

Demon four, although not directly connected I can see it becoming time
consuming: May I recommend anyone who has Go-Ahead group shares to sell
them before they drop due to, shall we say, "internal difficulties".

I bloody noticed when I wasn't tall enough to hold the bloody roof
beam aloft - standing there like a shortarsed ginger **** with nothing
better to do than wave my arms in the bloody air like a still frame
from a one-twat Mexican bloody wave.

Could have used another tall geezer, Dodger.

You were on the other end of the beam, holding it aloft already, iirc.
I felt I should try to take at least some of the weight, but
unstretched enough by a dick's length.

It was the pot-shots by the chaps with the
    shotguns that I objected to...

  10. It was somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the
drugs began to take hold. I remember Jackie
Amish Paradise did it for me.
