Bandit leaky valve...

    READ MY POST!

    It is very unlikely that there is a problem with the valve body! You
    haven't stated why you think there is, but if you can hear it leaking
    around the body, then tighten it up. And change the valve inner for
    good measure. These two activites are unlikely to take more than 0
    minutes.

    because a squirt of water around the base of the valve produces more bubbles
    than a nun farting in the bath! (No offence intended to any members of the
    cloth here present!)
    it's a solid rubber bung thing, with valve inside... air escaping found
    outside... tightening up wont do shit... will it?

    If there is a tightening nut on the outside then it may very well pull
    the rubber more deeply into the valve hole, hence plugging the leak,
    yes.

  6. It was somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the
    drugs began to take hold. I remember Keelworm
    Might and might not. If there's some corrosion inside the 'ole, it
    probably won't work for long. Only cure then is to remove, clean and
    renew.
