I'm 6' 4", am I too tall for a bandit? Passed my DAS and am looking for
something tame, yet cool, to run around on for a year or so. Or other
suggestions appreciated. I quite like the Z750S but might be a
    unsuitable for a novice?

Problem is I dont know if I'd know if it was too small for me till too
late. The ER-5 that I passed my test on seemed fine to me, but
apparently I looked stupid on it (sez my biker mate).

I'm 6' and I find my 600 Bandit fine, don't suppose 4" will make much
    difference (oh er missus)...

    S'Okay.

After a few years riding you'll find you can look stupid on anything.

There's a couple of Bandit 12's up for sale I think on here. I prefer
the Bandit 6 though, after having ridden both.

    Cheers,

    Paul.

I would say go for the 600 as the insurance for the 1200 is a fair bit more,
tis the reason i am selling/swoping mine for a 600, asap

    I got quoted £300 + £500 excess(another quoted £490 + 250 excess), for a 12
    and £150 + £200 excess for a 600, but then I have no, NCB

You also have a non-standard indent marker which makes reading your
responses difficult, a non-existent email address in your headers and
no sig separator, which both mark you down. I'm not surprised you
    have a hefty excess.

    Nah - I'm 6'2" and it's fine for me.

More comfy than my Tiger was, in fact.

How much did you want for it again? I remember you asking more than
the "good" price on Parkers for it, even though it had been down the
road a few times. What's the current asking price?
