From my Bandit Ballet moment earlier on in the month I was left with a
need for a new front left foot rest hanger.

    I ordered one for £30 (+£5 P&P) from www.banditspares.com over the
phone, arrived next day (yesterday) and fitted it today.

Unscrewed old one, screwed on replacement and it all worked, Bandit
even started and let me go out for a ride too.

    Result.

Heh. what would bikes to us if they had a memory?
Mine might snigger as I got on.

Mine would just refuse to start or tell me to let a decent rider on.

Mine would probably let out a little whimper and sob for the rest of
    the journey.
