    Hi,

I've noticed that the travel on the front brake is notchy. By this I mean it
seems to stop at certain points until more pressure is applied. When stopped
at lights earlier, I kept pulling it in and out and this seemed to make it a
    little better for a while.

    Sticking pistons? Calliper overhaul?

This may or not be related to my previous post of front brake judder. At
lower speeds the whole front end can judder under heavy braking, which is
made worse now as it applies the brakes in discrete steps, which is very
    odd.

Clean up the pistons and fit new seals would be my first port of call.

My thoughts as well, but as I'm about to move house in the next 2 weeks
it'll have to wait for a little while.

  4. And if it's a sliding caliper jobbie, do the sliders too.

Just done that on the GPz. Big difference.

Brakes on my CBR were like that, topped up the fluid and problem vanished.
    Sounds simple but it worked.

Fluid levels are full to the brim. However, I did take the caliper off to
have a closer look and it needs a good clean really, but it'll wait until
    Spring now.
