Is there a discussion group for Bandits that would describe how to
winterize the Bandit? In my case, it is a 2006 Bandit 1200. It is about
due for it's first service at 5000km, so I will likely need to do an oil
change first since I intend to continue riding until the roads get messy.

Anyhow, if anyone has some good pointers or websites to help me learn how
to do the simple stuff, such as adjust and lube the chain, change the oil,
winterize, please fill me in. This is my first bike in about 30 years, so
I have forgotten most of the obvious stuff.

    Thanks,

    Larry

Bought the bike from a dealer with 2800km on it. I assume that it was
done. In any case, no issues to report. It has been running smooth.
