Still dead-tired after a fortnight on the road. Back home late arvo yesterday after another glorious day riding, it now seems that one day blurred into the next....input overload :) NONE of us wanted to leave after the last meal together at some dingy little KooWeeRup bakery. Some of the best riding of the trip (road-wise) came after we left the rains behind at Nowra (some had left for Melb. at that stage because of the wet). Bermagui-Tathra road and Bonang Hwy are ripper-roads. Longest day about 600km, total around 5000km, one small spill (Gunther on the 3.day on the way back out from O'Reillys, minor damage to rider and bike), endless rolls of duct-tape used to fix all sorts of stuff, heat, pelting rain and thunderstorms, GREAT company, quite a few "locals" who dropped in/out to show us "their" roads (and faces). Thanks to the Brissie-guys who helped out to get us through Brissie after the bike pick-up from the freight-depot. After the confusion at Mt. Glorious we only had one other major goof-up around Sydney where some got lost, it all worked out ok an hour later meeting up in Camden again. It's been the longest (and best) trip so far, thanks to all who came along. Much of it hasn't hit home yet but over the next couple of weeks I'll try to get a ride report together and put it up on a site with some of the best pics. Most probably some sort of diary-style thingo... Many things won't make it into the report, you just would've had to be there... Plenty of things to do today, the "keyboard-fingers"are rusty and there are callouses in the palm of the hands from 2-weeks worth of hanging onto the grips :), no shit. Some pics are up already, 100s more to follow. Suzie also got some good 15sec. avi clips, some from the 40km single-laner-twisties to/from O'Reillys_Lamington Nat. Park. Cop ya later cheers pete
