Aye, Donnie Darko. Don't recall it involving an axe murderer, just
    being a truly crap film.

F5 is just reload. The browser asks (one way or another) for content
that's changed since it was last received, and as the ad is the only
dynamic content on the page, that changes while everything stays the
    same.

Donnie Darko is a good film, but there's no axe murdering in it. Where on
earth do you get your info from?

  8. Think about it.
    Open you mind.
    Think horizontally.
    Now:
The unfortunate guy in the news item was killed by an axe wealding
    racist nutter.
The Advert shows a picture of a guy with an axe over his shoulder.
    I was drawing a comparison.
I do not suggest I get my information on this film from anywhere apart
from it was a truly crap film.

Well said ad has a picture of someone looking pissed off, with an axe slung
over their shoulder, does it not?

Not exactly that subtle, given the article subject, is it, which is the
point Mick was trying to make, albeit not quite as spot on as he might have,
    I believe...

  10. Put it down to my mind being on other things.
I'm shooting a new door in to the room Jane is decorating.
I just call into my "play room" as I go passed and see something has
    turned up on the PC

The juxtaposition in iteself is enough. I don't see the need to basically
lie about it, unless you're writing for a tabloid. To someone who hasn't
seen the film it would appear even more insensitive. you might as well have
described it as "...a film with a teenage rascist bus stop axe murderer".

I understand the point he was trying to make, but that doesn't excuse sloppy
    research.
