One very shitty experience and one very amazing manufacturer. It
begins with the hell that is palnetsuperbike.com and ends with the
amazing service and response from Gregg of Greggs Customs.

This whole purchase started out as a way to say thank you to a friend
who loaned me his bike for over a month while I located and installed
a new engine in my R6.

I knew my friend really wanted to get these,
    http://www.greggscustoms.com/prod_kawiZX12R.html , for his ZX-12. To
say thank you I placed an order for them with planetsuperbike.com .

As it turns out palnetsuperbike.com does not actually stock this item.
You order from them, they order from McCoy Motorsports who then drop
ships them to you. Had I known that I would have ordered directly from
    McCoy Motorsports http://tobefast.com/default_streetbike.aspx .

Three weeks I patiently waited. When the item arrived, it was the
wrong one. This is where it all goes sideways.

I will happily pay double listed price from anyone else before buying
so much as a crush washer from http://www.planetsuperbike.com/ again.

I dare you to actually get a response from them.

Over three weeks time I have emailed them every three days. Not one
response. I have called at different times daily Monday - Friday.
Their voice mail has been full every time and they have never answered
their phone. I have sent three letters via snail mail. I will confess
that I have not faxed them but I suspect that I will be met with the
    same silence.

During this time I decided to see if I could maybe get another phone
number from the people that dealt with them. First I called McCoys
Motorsports who confirmed that I did have the wrong part. They asked
me to attempt to work it out with the company I purchased from but if
I could not get a hold of planetsuperbike.com to give them a call back
and they would help me out.

A day or so later I noticed that Gregg's Customs address was just 10
miles from my house. I figured I give him a call and see if there was
anything he could do for me. I did not expect what I got. The man
deals with retailers not customers. I was just hoping to find a local
retailer I could trade with or something. Gregg was amazing. He
checked his stock to see if he had what I needed in the shop. He did
not have any finished but said some should be back from the powder
coaters in a week. He took my contact info and told me he would call.
A week later I was standing in his shop picking up the correct parts.

Today my husband installed the new Gregg's Customs flush mount turn
signals on my friends ZX-12. They look amazing and it is the perfect
way to say thank you to my friend.

Gregg is an amazing person and has a strong customer service focus.
His products are of excellent quality. I can not say enough great
things. He took a stressful situation and totally diffused it.

McCoy Motorsports also gave me great service and were willing to help
me sort this out as well.

Thank you Gregg of Gregg's Customs!
