Bad but good but bad but good...

This morning the Pig developed a knock after a quick squirt through the
gears, I'm suspecting bottom end. The good news is that I have 4 weeks
hols starting next week, so as I was half tearing down the bike anyway
to fit new suspension, steering head bearings etcetera, now It'll be a
total rebuild. I may take the opportunity to powder coat the frame and
swingarm black as well as up the compression and other engine bits to
later specs while I'm at it.

So there goes PI for another year...

Old mate's racing the ASC next year and my next hols coincide with the
WSBK round at PI so hopefully I'll make up for it then...

That's life, now I'm going to crack a Coopers.

 

90,000k's. I figured it'd be needing a top end in a couple of years so I
guess I may as well do it all now. Might haveta buy a pushie to get
around the next couple of months though...
