A day spent fucking around trying to get my Abba-style bike-lift adapted to fit the Gixer, struggling with a rear wheel spindle nut tightened by a gorilla[1] and discs that *just* caught the edges of the pads[2] and the bike is now back on the road. The easiest bit was the job I thought was going to give me the most grief, it took 2 minutes to change the shock for the standard one. Now to get the blown up shock back to Maxton for a rebuild, new spring and to fit a hydraulic preload adjuster. [1] OK, so it was me that did it last time. [2] Angle grinder came in useful. -- Lozzo Track pixie GSX-R1000 K1 I haven't lost my mind, it's backed up to a floppy disc that's around here somewhere.
