back in the wind after a 4 year grounding

  1. Yup, I'm going to be picking up a 2002 Road King Classic on Sat from Full
Boar in Hurst. It's a 2002 with less than 13K mi on it - not even broken
    in yet.

I'm psyched. I knew it would be a good month after my wife told me to
shut up, stop whining and go get one.

Hi there Bill. Nice to see you back. Unless my aging mind is confused (a
distinct possibility), you were a frequent poster on tx.motorcycles a few
years back. Didn't you have a sportster that got mashed while riding
    somewhere up in DFW?

    Congrats on re-joining the fold.

Hiya Bill! Great to hear from you and welcome back.
Nice bike you're getting. Ride safe... and don't be a stranger. :)

That would be me. I got nailed in 04/99 while do a pre-run. It worked
out well though... The Sportster morphed into a high performance 1200. I
was sorry to have to sell it in 2002.

I did post a lot - and will be doing so again - mostly ride reports.

I'm looking forward to the runs to the hill country and maybe even joining
Brian on one of his Mes'co runs. There's a lot of road out there I
    haven't been on yet... yet.

Hey Dude! Long time no hear from!

Yup, I'm still around. Still have that old Shadow. It's been pissed
for the past several years, mostly since it lost that Sportster and
hasn't been able to fondle any others. I went from it to now a
    CBR1100XX Blackbird.

I'd be glad to have you along on the rides. Got one coming up in a
couple weeks to Mena Arkansas that you might be able to break in the
new ride some. I won't be able to leave with everyone else on
Thursday, but I'm looking at leaving D/FW at daybreak that Friday. Let
me know if it'd work for you and we'll ride out there.
