Just to let you know I was released around lunch time today and have
    been home since early afternoon.

This feels really odd - it's going to take some time to adjust to being
back here, as the last time I saw the place I was at death's door.

I'd like to thank everyone for their messages of support / piss taking
both here and on FB - it kept my spirits up through the most difficult
    week of my life.

  4. Just remember to take it all one step at a time and that blow jobs on
demand are an essential part of the recovery process.

Or at least use the wrist that didn't have a tube up the artery.
    Did you get a stent?

I was out for the day with an old mate who has stents fitted (about 8
years ago) last Friday. Doing really well on it. Certainly didn't cramp
his style in the real ale sampling department.

    Onward and upward.

I have five. It should have been two but the artery dissected while the
    surgeon
was fitting the second stent. Fortunately the guide wire was still in place
so he could fit another three, otherwise he would have had to get out
    the angle grinder.

Don't expect a quick recovery. It was six months before I was fit again.

  16. No sex a all, I reckon. The sudden, erm, burst of excitement could be
    fatal.

A nice cup of Horlicks, oops, no, OK, tea, and a watch of Countryfile is
    what he needs.

Heh, I was holding back on the congratulations for staying alive front
but I think making it out of hospital without a name tag on his toe
deserves a very gentle pat on the back.
