I got a new bike - but then, you have no idea who I am.

    So, no not really :)

Welcome back. How were the hills? I expect you need a good massage now
    don't you?

<grins> Assuming bike has been fettled successfully whilst I've been away,
I'll be at Avebury on Wed, so can discuss massages then ;-)

Hills were big and pointy. Trek was harder than anything I've done before.
Ladakh region of India was magnificant and the people very welcoming. Delhi
was ok, but not really my cup of tea. May do a proper write up of trip, if
    folks are interested.

No immodium required at any time. :)

Well, only Krusty engaging in some mild self-harm/abuse which has left
    him rather sore

Jolly good - I'll bring some aromatic oils[1]
I certainly would be, especially if it's got photos too (I'm not good
    with words).
Modern butt-plugs are amazing things aren't they.

[1] I've got a can of Castrol R in the garage, & some rather fragrant
    ATF.

    Awwww <blushes> Ta sweetie.

My birthday just happened to be the most gruelling bloody day of the trek
:) I did get a birthday cake though.

Although travelling through Snowleopard country, I didn't see a single one.
Mind you, the BBC did spend 2 years trying to film for a documentary there
some time ago and didn't see any either.

They're all healed now I'm glad to say. I've been doing more self-abuse
today though - eleven hours laying carpets. **** me do I ache.

    Nice ;-)
Ok doke, I'll try to rustle up something before EOSM. I will pare down the
    350 pics I took. ;-)

Btw, Canon A700 digicam is the dog's bollocks - didn't have to replace the
crappy alkaline AA batteries till just a couple of days before returning
home. Sort of made a mockery of the 6 sets of batteries I took to be on
    safe side.

Are you any good at it?

    Do you work for food?

Any cheap sources of stuff? tradepriced.co.uk seem pretty good for
underlay and gripper, but I've not ordered yet.

There was an ITV documentary where they found some - and *very*
similar footage appeared in the Beeb's last big natural world series
    (I forget the name),

Yes, but only when they moved over to Afghanistan - Ladakh (Snowleopard
capital of the world) didn't have a single one showing a whisker.

    <looks at ripples & rough edges>

It would seem not! But this is a 'preparing for sale' re-carpetting, so
I didn't really take much care. The bits that are visible look ok...
    No, only sex.
Like I said, it was 'preparing for sale' - underlay & gripper weren't
involved - just double sided tape.

ITYF paying the labourer is usually the job of the lady of the house.

You'll wear the blonde wig and suspenders when you're 'laying carpet' I
    assume.

I understand he likes a 'deep pile'.
