Back from Cornwall and thanks...

  1. Well, we got back from Cornwall on Saturday morning, having covered a
handful under 1500 miles. Lovely week, just what we needed in order to
chill out a bit. Saw lots of stuff, ate too much, drank about enough,
laughed plenty, talked [more] bollocks and took far too many photos -
of which the only "on topic" one was this Harley moment at the Eden
    Project:

    http://www.clogish.nl/gallery/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=1622&g2_serialNumber=1

The other 800+ have been cut down to 500ish, which may take some time
cropping and re-sizing for the web and selecting those to be printed.
Most of the shots are from our days out, so won't interest the most of
you - although there are some from the campsite which might amuse.

Nice to see all those in attendance, thanks for making the other half
welcome and finally, thanks to Elly for DFV'ing and those providing
Culinary expertise for not poisoning us.

    Roll on next years plans!

Nice to see you, too[1]. I think you're the first to mention it :)
Life can be so hard sometimes. I honestly think that Cornwall's the only
time in the year that I eat properly!

See you there next year[2] if not before.

    [1] And your good lady.
[2] An alternative venue was mentioned but I don't know anything else
    about it.

It is the strangest of things innit, for me the culinary highlight has
to be The Gravy we had on Friday.

Especially when I found out that ambrosia is so (potentially) easy to
make. That particular one is going in my recipe book as Cornish Click
    Sauce.

Likewise, I'm feeling remarkably relaxed despite ploughing through the
mountain of washing and unpacking today.

I'll look forward to seeing those.
    Not difficult, she's lovely.
    No problem.
Hear, hear. Excellent food again this year. The highlight for me was
the Indian banquet on my burfday :) .
    I'll be in touch soon.

Tarragon, preferably fresh but freeze dried will do at a push.

He was alive, grinning and breathing hard after having taken the Vmax
out for a play last week.

I have been remiss in not saying thanks to all those who made last
weekend such a pleasant few days. And Auvache.

    I don't care, anymore.
These would be all those who spent the Sunday hiding behind bushes so
I couldn't find them? I didn't ride around Cornwall all day for my
    health, you know.

A wonderfully silly motorcycle which goes from laid back cruiser to manic
missile at the mere twitch of the wrist. A two-stroke for those who don't
like two-strokes. A bit heavy for off-roading though...

Part of the appeal *is* the fact that its an evil handling lardy barge.

Can someone explain the appeal of such an evil handling lardy barge?
How does it compare with an evil handling '86 Gixxer, which has the same power
yet is 65kg lighter? Is it one of those things that must be experienced and
    can't be explained?
