B12 tyres, the eternal question

    Okay, so the approved choice is Avon AV45/46ST - the standard Michelin
    OEM tyres are okay so far, but could be so much better. However, I
    have an option to buy some Dunlops at cost, or will have in the New
    Year (which is really when I'll need them). What's the collective
    view on Dunlop tyres, and is there any other recommendation?

    I hated the Avons that were on mine. OK-ish in the dry, but bloody awful
    in the wet: spun up at the /slightest/ excuse, and never inspired
    confidence.

    I'd say Bridgestone.
