B12 Suspension Settings.

Discussion in 'UK Motorcycles' started by toad_oftoadhall, Jun 30, 2006.

  1. Imagine you weigh 16 stone and have a K1 B12.

What would good starting point settings be for front and rear
    suspension?

Or is is best to leave them as they came out of the factory?

Progressive springs and heavier oil in the forks. The shock may well
be past its best, depending on mileage. Static sag first, then adjust
what you can (and that isn't a lot on stock suspension) up to halfway
between fully hard and standard as a starting point.

Jacking the back end of a 1200 Bandit by an inch or so works well, as
it speeds up initial turn-in noticeably.
    Prolly not.
