Steve Woods ran 209.45 on a somewhat modified but still naked B-King
at a UKLSRA event in May. Mind you, his neck did hurt for a while
    afterwards!

Lanky git. I'm about 1/2" shorter in the height department, but with a
    mere 28" leg

AONTL. I had a test ride on one too. Very unimpressed I was. Oh, and the tank
range is shit. Not much more than a Virago 535, IIRC.

    Have you tried bar risers?
I think the GTR is an excellent bike but every magazine comparison
I've read says it's not as good as the BMW 1200RT or 1300GT. I haven't
ridden either of the other two so can't comment but it has me
    wondering.

    Ah.

I have sympathy with your position (ouch!) as our busa is being used
less and less for two reasons - 1) it isn't a great luggage carrier,
and 2) my wrist on the left, elbow on the right and both knees are
pretty knackered so the older I get the more uncomfortable it is. It
    is a great bike though.

You ought to try a naked Bandit with big bars.

I, on the other hand, would like to try a 'Busa. If you're going to
out it, I'd like to be in the queue.

Put a high bar conversion on it - I had one in for a clutch repair that
had this and it was extremely comfortable. It made perfect sense with
higher bars and a double bubble screen.

    Noted.

Would you like me to take Elly in part-ex?

Well the 132 litres of Givi's finest hung off the tail means that I can
lug stuff about, but the Busa is very sensitive to luggage.

Erm, the return's there you knob, which is why it says
    <dash><dash><space>
    Pointless pile of shit

If there was no return then it would have read
    <dash><dash><space>Pointless pile of shit

That's very nice of you, but I have trundled a 'Busa, in days past.
Being of the short-legged fraternity but being blessed with Italianape
arms, the fit is quite good. The look of the things always put me off
in the past, but tastes change and anyway, you can't see the pigugly
back end when you're riding it, right?

If you take The Burd and give me the 'Busa, a Gucci necklace - and the
matching earrings, you tightwad - then we may have a deal.

Burd and earrings I'm happy with, but I draw the line at giving you the
    pearl necklace
