The Blade had a service yesterday and I asked the bloke to fit braided hoses
    to the front.

I expected some sort of improvement but I must admit that I'm astonished by
the result. Admittedly the service included new pads but the performance of
the front stoppers is nothing short of incredible. It's so effective I can
stand it on it's nose with one finger on the lever.

I didn't bother with the back because I so rarely use the back brake but I'm
tempted to fit them to see what happens.

You'd be unlikely to stand on it's nose using the back brake, braided hoses
    or not.

You'll still rarely use the back brake, is my bet.

Depends on how fast he's travelling backwards.

Your local dealer will probably stock kits or can make them up for you.

    Or try www.goodridge.net
