Would I be right in thinking that these are something like a BT-020 in terms of grip and longevity?
Yes but they last even longer and have a nice "slick strip" on the edges for times when the road demands it.
On the 1200 Bandit I found they both gave around 4000 miles but the 020's warmed up faster and were better in the wet. A lot of people suggest higher mileage from the 45/46 but my experience never proved this on the Bandit. Mark
No. They last twice as long and grip twice as hard. They don't seem to need warming up even. You'll hate them.
Oi, flash, have you got a Bandit? I got 9,000 out of a rear x2 on mine and after 7,000 miles on a CBR thou, there's at least another 2,000 miles left and that includes the burnout Loz did on it at the Ace
My point was that they last well on the road and there's still room for a burnout. Now I know that was only 300 miles worth, I'll definitely be celebrating the life of it next time I go and get it changed
