Maybe, but it's not something I'd buy a ticket for.

Always did. Including the 3 years I went. That's what drugs are for.

Well, you'd hardly have known in advance, given they don't announce the
lineup until a good month or so after all the tickets have been sold.
I spent very little time near any of the main stages, tbh. Anyone going
there just to see the big bands is kind of missing the point.
Though camping near the Pyramid stage did mean I could lay in my
tent, read the paper, and be serenaded by the likes of James Brown.

Random pleasures were Tony Benn, The Rutles, Tinariwen (well worth
tracking down, this bunch - Tuareg Malian rebels playing the blues
of sorts), the topless fire-eater, British Sea Power (with full
giant bear stage assault), The Concretes and, much to my surprise,
    The Beatle.

    Which was nice.

Fire eater? How many were there? Was there a really slim, slightly
gorgeous one in her late 30s?

I'd pay good money to see Paul McCartney give yes a kicking.

"Heather McCartney. I don't trust her. Why does she pretend she's got
two legs when everyone knows she's got one?"
