Meet up at the pub in Avebury this Wednesday? For pointing, laughing and
    generally have a pleasant chat.

Also, for those who've never ridden a *proper* bike [1] there may be a
Guzzi for HAGM [2]. Now with added Jota bars.

Avebury has the advantage of being well signposted, the pub is opposite
the stones (older than Stonehenge apparently). Good roads and a busy
    bike evening pub thing.

Downside may be the weather, at least the roads should be clean if it's
    dry.

[1] One where bits fall off, shake, slow gear changes, blurOvision
    and makes fast feel fast.

17 and dry I can live with (forecast when I looked).

17 and pissing down I'd rather watch the telly :)

Maybe, if it's dry and I'm not already sitting in a field in Somerset
    by then.

Thing is, I can actualy picture sweller standing in the car park, in the
pouring rain, clutching his soggy burger [1]
    and still looking 'happy'.

[1] this is not a euphemism

I honestly don't understand this. Is it being said I'm miserable bastard
    or a grinning imbecile.

    Either works for me though.

It was more that it's not the destination, but the journey that makes you
    happy.

Not a comment on your mental abilities.

I wasn't bothered about Glastonbury until I found out Christy Moore
and Divine Comedy were playing. Now I'm slightly peeved but can't
justify the silly prices tickets are going for on ebay.

I think it's that you look like the one but are actually the other.
    That was my impression...

I'm intending to come rain or shine ATM, it'll be good not be the
work/friends emotional counsellor for an evening... (UKRM excluded,
I'm kept totally in the dark here, which is nice...)
    Safe rides one and all...

I saw Christy Moore last weekend for 38 quid at the Fleadh.

He was shit. He was shit last time I saw him (also at the Fleadh) and
    the time before that.

Frankly, he's shit. And so's Neil Hannon.

Last time I saw him in the late '90's in Glasgow he was wonderful.
Neil hannon is a genius. One of the best lyricists ever IMO.
