Hi folks - just letting you know - have been in touch with Woodstock -
they reckon it'll be business as usual this evening (although the
carpets might still be a bit damp!)

Holy dooley, that was a heck of a storm! Civic looked like a war zone
    earlier this morning...

Anyway - dinner at Woodstock is still ON!!! See you there,

OK - another update - the Bureau of Meteorology issued another Severe
Storm Warning at 12.30. What do you folk want to do???? My immediate
thought was to cancel and escape from work early - feedback
    please......

I'd say stick with it. Clem was in Lithgow at 12:15pm and he was
planning to head directly for Civic.

If a tree fell over in the woulds, wood anyone hear it?
Come to the Northern Subs of Melbourne if you want good riding
conditions. They've only measured 100mm total in the past 4 months at
    my local BoM station.

And a good time was had by the doodle; thanks very much Betty! (And
thanks very much to BT and Minx!)
Not much thanks to Woodstock though. Although they were pretty cheap
the pizzas were pretty 'orrible and mine gave me the blurts in real
    dramatic fashion!
My arse totally got into the whole '60s Woodstock theme as it was
making music and singing all night long! (More Dylan than Hendrix
    though!)

<rolling eyes> Well Geez, Clem, I tried to warn you when I mentioned the
radioactive octopus salad, but would you listen? Nope, you wanted to go
where the Boxer family had gone......

On your own head (or bum!) be it!

I reckon it wasn't the pizzas that did it - after all, I risked a pizza too,
and I'm gluten intolerant!!!!! My bum was fine (but I thought my heart was
going to explode at one point - the food? Or was it one of those middle-aged
lady things? Who knows, ha ha ha - blaming Woodstock's over-oily pizzas
would be too easy...) Clem, petal, I reckon your afterburner problems were
caused by the jalapeno overdose you had, courtesy of Jules!

OK, Woodstock is officially off the list for future ausmoto soirees (phew!)

OK I put it to the test last night Betty.
I ate about 10 jalapenos out of the bottle and then I cooked a steak and
tipped a third-of-a-bottle of "Byron Bay Cayenne Chilli Sauce" over it and
    went to town!
Sure enough; I was on the dunny and practically baying at the moon in
arse-pain at 5:30 this morning 8 HOURS LATER........
I was in trouble in less than an hour at Woodstock's so I'm still blaming
    the Botulism-du-Jour pizza!

    mmmmm, thanks for sharing <grin>

Is that 8 Queensland hours or 8 daylight-saving hours? <ducking>

Yep, you could be right about something evil on your pizza, coz I had the
jalapeno-loaded one and had no probs at all. I guess the jalapenos were all
right... Are you sure you didn't order some radioactive baby octopus for
    your pizza?

Woodstock is definitely OFF the menu from now on! (although for anybody
constipated it might be just the right venue.....)
