You lucky sod. It's been raining here all night, but the amount of
lighting around here anyway would mean I'm unlikely to see it.

The house in the pic ads a bit to it, the only other pics I've seen of
the aurora have been a green cuirtany effect, this clearly is not.

    You lucky sod.

You lucky bastards, I’ve always wanted to see the aurora and had sort of
resigned my self to going to norven scandy some where or other, but now
during the only time it’s visible for UK soil probably in my life I’m in
Hong Kong, I don’t think any amount of solar flaring will produce one
    down here.

Still it’s a beautiful day, sun blue sky, no motorbike (yet) :-(

I'm heading off to scroteland tomorrow, I wonder if I'll be able to see it
    from there.

I suppose it could be the front of Weatherspoons taken from the east
side of Cabot Square, but even so, you'd have to be up bloody high from
    the ground to see it.

Nah. I think it's 1 Canada Square and the HSBC building.

The HSBC building hasn't got any green on it, it's also too close in the
photo to be anywhere near 1 Canada square as HSBC is number 8 and over
the other side of the road.

If you spent as much time being drunk as me, you get used to this kind
of thing. I may be wrong, but probably am right.
