I've been meaning to try this reading format for simply ages and found a Tuit yesterday. I wanted to play stuff on the cage MP3 player. 2x30min journeys, 3 or 4 days a week. Otherwise wasted time (1). Just an Ian Rankin novel for starters. What a jolly good thing it is. Catchy. I had to partially defeat the object and plug the iPod into my Pure beside my bed to finish the 3rd part ;o) Can the FOAK recommend any good sites/sources for the media. I'm rather assuming that disability regs force publishers to provide *all* books in an audio format for the blind and dyslexic. Happy to purchase but no DRM infested or proprietary format shite (so don't say iTunes). On the flip side if you drive with a modicum of skill (2) the concentration prevents the audio stream really sinking in. So fine for Novels but unsuitable for the latest advances in CT technology and Radiotherapy Physics. But in a plane or train I can see it would work really well. (1) well, if you can ever call R4 wasted time (feckin Archers excepted) (2) obviously all UKRM regulars do, like Gods (good ged)
