I won't be renewing my (previously free) subscription for many reasons, one
of them being their insistance on continuing their ridiculous "slag off the
other motorcycle press" column as if anyone gave a ****.

Superbike was much better 25 years ago.
Time for a browse in my cupboard.

  3. The wife brought a copy of "Fast Bikes" back from the UK. The only
difference between this mag and SB, is FB has more tits in it. Which
makes it a better buy, IMO.

Look, I can't go to the pub yet, as it's only 10 past 8.

O n the odd occasion I have bought said mag, that's the only bit I have
found original(for a bike mag) , but in a ripped-off from Private Eye kind
    of way....

At least they have, in the past, shown up the other (mainly EMAP(therefore
from the same stable of the weekly paper of lies)) mags' fallabilities when
it comes to sucking corporate cock...

As I said, I couldn't GAF about their petty rivalries. And I would object
paying them to tell me about them

Considering most of the other mags are published by EMAP, and AFAIK,
Superbike is IPC's only foray into such a genre, it's hardly unsurprising
    :)

I can get it for about 80% off through work, but I chose not to for similar
    reasons to Porl.

The final tipping point was the fat cnut they gave the 04 GSX-R to for long
term test - he did no miles on it as standard, stuck all manner of shit on
it and only rode it about 2000 miles. For anyone actually wanting to know if
it was a half decent bike it was utter shit.

  7. The Guzzi Cali I tested in 1997 had been uncrated and prepped for MCN to
    test before I got it.

I collected it after they'd "done a full roadtest". It had something
like 350 miles on the clock.

They gave it the full test treatment in the rag, on a bike that they
    hadn't even run in, ffs.
