    Bike / hedge / fence-post interface.

I drifted wide going round a left-hander (single track) and thought
I'd be fine, brushing the hedgerow along the right-hand side.
Suddenly, there was a huge *thwack* but I managed to stay upright.

It was when I tried to stop that I realised I had knowhere to put
my foot, nor a back brake. The post that I hit had snapped off
the foot rest and bent the brake level back into the exhaust.

How I managed this with only a small whack to my knee, I'll
    never know.

Yesterday I was chatting to Nicky the Monkey-Hanger who worked with me
at Gericke Slough, she wondered if you had any decent standard fairing
    panels for her ZX7R P2?

  4. Its a company cage rather than mine.
I strongly suspect that my mechanical skills are even more limited than
yours which means that I'll have to decline. However I take your point
and if I'm ever in the position to get ripped off I'll make sure ukrm get
    first bite.

Standard? Nah, I've only got race bodywork, I'm afraid. But if she
    needs:
    - forks,
    - brakes
    - seats
    - brake pads (part worn)
    - engine (complete)
    - engine parts (alternator, starter motor, head, barrels, cams, etc)
    - exhaust (complete)
    - exhaust (end can)
    - and many many more

    ....then I'm the man

Yes, I got that. It was a "what do you think of that, eh?" type of eh?
Right, I like the sound of that. I feel that I may find myself being drawn
into the second category more often than I should. Ta,

All round and sporty, that's what I want. I also want full on supersports GP

I've fallen in love with the styling, and I've always wanted a ZXR750.
    http://www.olofmc.com/MC/gallery/pictures/kawasaki/zxr750_1.jpg lovely.
The ZX7-R looks, to me, like the looney son of the ZXR.
Always very useful. Don't suppose you've got a ZX6 top end kicking arround?

Anyway, I think that I shall need to do some test rides.

Blimey, that's just up the road from me.

Of course, while the planes don't tend to drop frozen poo when they're
coming in to land, there's always the risk of a frozen Afghan falling out of
the plane when they open the undercarriage - I think they've had a couple of
these in Saino's car park before now.

One's got to make an effort. Now all I need to do is
stop wobbling and get out on a run.

I went Swaffham (Norfolk) to Steyning (Sussex), in March [1], on a Yamaha
    DT100. And back.

I was right royally nicked in Bramber for, IIRC, 7 or 8 offences [2]

[1] Foul gales, blown from the road twice. Yes, crashed.
    [2] No front mudguard
Showing other than a red light to the rear
    No L plates
    Ineffective silencer
    No brake light
    No dip beam
    No speed indicating device [3]
[3] I more or less got away with it all too.

    Oh yeah, whereabouts?
Indeed, they dropped a ready frozen Indian lad out of a wheel bay of a
passing jet and onto the top of the old gasometer down there a few years
    back.
Personally I've always hated travelling coach, and now I know why :)

I work with a bloke that did the entire perimeter of Australia on a
250 super dream fully loaded with all his kit and a pillion - took him
a year, and never broke down once apparently...

oh and er - Hello by the way.
