Assen MotoGP in UKRM-Nova problem

As I had a dumb blond moment and only did half a job telling my
recorder about the BBC2 coverage, I missed the race. No problem, that
nice Mr Statto comes up with the race on UKRM-Nova so I get to see it
after all. Except ...

The video and audio are not in synch. It seems they start out in
synch then quickly drift as the video is running quite a bit faster
than it should. Anyone else notice this and anyone got any
suggestions as to what may have happened?

 

Just checked the interviews towards the end of the file and all
appears OK - XP, Media Player 10.

 

If I move the progress bar in WM10 (also WM11 which I upgraded to) it
starts off in synch from the point you start playing. WM did mutter
something about out of date codex but is singularly unhelpful in
offering a solution to this.
