So what was that last tune in tonight's episode?

    Something about "like the wind..."

I sort of recognise it and the earworm is driving me nuts.

Just when I thought I could not be stopped
When my chance came to be king
    The ghosts of my life
    Blew wilder than the wind

There are three there that I quite like but that's only a 33.3% hit
    rate.

I actually have three of them (Soft Cell, The Skids, The Beat). I
suspect they may not be the three you like.

Snap. I may have Roxy Music on vinyl as well.

I had a backstage pass plus 1 to the Beat's concert in Nottingham
earlier this month (from the same chap who was involved with the Crass
gig) and completely forgot about it. I'm still mildly irritated by
    this.

Must buy the album on iTunes if it's there..

  13. I dunno. Some of it is quite listenable. The last 3 songs anyway.

  14. You'll not be amazed to know I disagree. Not sure I've got The Skids
track but I certainly have all of the others either on vinyl or CD.

I think (hope) that I've still got all of the above, barring Kim
Wilde, on tape or vinyl. Oh, and possibly the Beat.

26 years of my life have just disappeared, are you sure it's not still
    1982 ?

I can't find the old grey whistle test on any of the tv listings...

Ace secured a place in history by writing:
I have all of them on vinyl, barring Kim Wilde. I've also seen 7 of them
performed live, 3 times in the case of Ghosts. And I modelled myself on
David Sylvian during my spotty, self-delusional, my-twelve-pleats-and-a-
    bottle-of-hydrogen-peroxide-might-get-me-a-shag years.
