Well, there goes 15 years of a clean license.

F*cking 39 in a 30. early doors on a saturday, wide main road, no one
about, good conditions. I was taking the V for its MOT as its been Sorn'd
for a month due to arrival of the little one. Anyway, just took my eye off
the road for a minute to check all the indicators lights were working as
expected. Looked up and there was plods estate with the kit in the back.
    NIP came through this week.

What really pisses me off was that he could have stopped me if he wanted
to discuss the error of my ways. Then he would have found a bike with no
tax, current MOT and for all he knew insurance(I do have the latter and as
I was booked in for the MOT the first two don't count). But no, give us
    £60 and have these points.

You may want to make sure the MoT station don't lose the record of your
booking, in case plod have informed the DVLA you weren't taxed.

I have the certificate which shows it was MOT'd that day, I would hope
that is enough. They can always ring up teh dealer. Its in his appointment

I'll not hold my breath. After all it would take actual work to dig that
    up.
