Didn't get the job, it went to someone with more experience.

Double arse, you know that 21 year old I was talking about a few weeks back?
You know, the one who bought a £5.5k GSXR600 as his first bike.
Twat binned it! His tyres weren't scrubbed in and he highsided.
£350 worth of damage, not that bad.
His leathers seams popped though, he only crashed doing 30mph.

What is it with cunts who can't ride *always* blaming the tyres?

Tyres are fucking wonderful things these days, and you'd have to be a
right ham-fisted arsehole to lose the back end of a Gixxer 6 at 30
    mph.

    Broadcast ends.

I lost the back-end of my CBR4. I had tyres with less than 10 miles on and
I gave it a handful pulling out of a petrol station 300 yards from home and
the back end ... just ... slid ... across

    <Pause>

    Um, as you were.

Point taken, but he's 21 and I can't tell him anything.
I told him not to buy the bike and the leathers that he bought.

At the end of the day he's a fashion conscious 21 year old.
    I would've done the same.

Linger emerged from their own little world to say
Isn't that the new(er) name for Rhino?

I had some Rhino gloves which were very good. They were highly rated in a
magazine test and lasted years. However, it was some time ago that I bought
them so perhaps they have gone down market.

  8. If his tyres weren't scrubbed in, that means he binned it within the
first 50 miles of collecting it.

Or did he just bin it on cold tyres?

Either way: clumsy twat, as you say.

Ah but you have provided a valuable lesson. About half a mile out of
home I was entusiastically going round a roundabout when I felt the
back end skip a bit. 'New tyre, still cold, this is how Champ binned
it' I thought and backed off. Until the next roundabout.

How do you highside a faired bike and only do £350 worth of damage? That's
under the price of 2 fairing panels on their own.
Highside at 30mph, that's impressive. Although, it may have looked like
    this I suppose....

Lol, what a fuckwit. A fine example of why you shouldn't shut the

Looking at it again, it doesn't say he's on a Yamaha, it just says he
went to a Yamaha dealer, which is what that one is.

  18. I almost lobbed the trumpet a couple of weeks ago. got to the main
road, thought it was straight, accelerated (and I don't think i nailed
it) only for it to move sideways. Had me out of the seat but i relaxed
and it came back into line.

I didn't think it moved that far, but Wik, who was following, guessed
    it at 12 inches.

never had it happen before, caught me out. probably wont happen again.
