Arse! There goes the FJ's clutch then.

Had to happen eventually. Pretty hard on the power at about 7-8k rpm, over a
bump in the road and revs go *sky high*. Time for a new set of plates and a
Barrett coil spring conversion for the old FJ methinks. A bit quick off the
mark are them new TVRs! (Luverly sound though).

Are you sure the sky high revs weren't just caused by the back wheel
leaving the ground over the bump?
Or are you just looking for an excuse to put all that new stuff in it?
    Hmm?

FJs *never* leave the ground! They're just too damn heavy. It's definitely
the clutch. It's been on its last legs for a while now. Just been too skint
    to sort it out.

Heh, FJR's do (as I cross my local level crossing). But they are
front heavy and always tip forward. 50 is the fastest I've dared
this, more and I think it would be an off.
